Neisa has been cleaning dog and cat teeth since 2012 and works under the supervision of veterinarians in both California and Oregon. In 2017, Neisa earned the title of animal care specialist while working at SOAR wildlife rehabilitation facility in southern Oregon. Neisa recently moved to North Carolina to conduct her masters research and expand her client base. She holds a B.S. with honors in Environmental Science and Policy and a Biology Minor from Southern Oregon University and a M.S. in Environmental Policy and Management with a concentration in Natural Resource Management from the University of Denver. Neisa's masters research is focused on PFAS contamination in American water and soils. She hopes her research will help with setting regulatory standards for harmful contaminants in public drinking water supply systems.
In her spare time, Neisa enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors. She is mother to two sons. Neisa has a passion for environmental health and animal welfare, herbs, homeopathy, and holistic health care and she enjoys sharing herbal remedies and natural pet care alternatives with her clients.
